Dylan Gilbert, originally from Berkeley, California, was named after Bob Dylan. One of his first memories was getting tear-gassed at a protest his mom had taken him to as a child. Later in life, he spent several years working as an actor in everything from performance art to Shakespeare. After acting, he moved to New York’s Hudson Valley where he raised a family and taught English. In addition to writing, his passions include dancing, exploring nature, swimming, and political activism. You can e-mail him at [email protected].
